AlertD Launches AI for SREs and DevOps
Today we officially introduced AlertD, a multi-purpose AI SRE and DevOps platform built to help engineering teams keep pace with the growing complexity of AWS environments. After years of firsthand frustration with legacy observability, infrastructure and cloud-ops tooling, our founders set out to solve a familiar problem for modern SRE and DevOps organizations: too much noise, too much toil, and not enough clarity when uptime is on the line.
AlertD was created by Geoff Hendrey (Cisco, AppDynamics, Splunk) and Freddy Mangum (Cisco, Fortinet, VC advisor), who have spent decades building and scaling some of the most widely used monitoring, infrastructure, security and analysis systems in the industry. Their core belief: AI agents—when thoughtfully designed—can dramatically improve how teams manage AWS operations.
Why We Built AlertD

Early design partners and investors reinforce our mission. AlertD raised $3 million in pre-seed funding led by True Ventures, whose partner Puneet Agarwal has backed companies like Duo Security and Puppet.
