A ticket costs a few dollars to work and, sometimes, millions to get wrong. AI is now writing apps faster than anyone can operate them, widening that gap by the day. The same wave, pointed back at the queue as agents, is what closes it.

AlertD's engineering team faced an all-too-common problem: a new AI feature silently ballooned their LLM bill with no easy way to identify the culprit using traditional observability tools. To solve this, they built deep prompt inspection, which semantically clusters and auto-classifies LLM payloads to produce a ranked, dollar-denominated cost breakdown by use case — no code changes required. Their LLM Showdown feature then benchmarks every available Bedrock model against the same prompt, revealing that a switch to Nova Lite delivered comparable quality at roughly 1/40th the cost.
